Bieber is ceasing to impress me. I'm surprised that he can't dress up for an awards show.
Really? That surprised you?
Really??
And yeah, I think I yelled @ the television several times for him to pull his pants up. I think he's actually wearing female pants, which is why they're so low but still so tight, which is that 'trend' he's now started w/ teenage boys that makes me tilt my head in wonder. Just like Lil' Wayne's lil' 1 pant leg rolled up & the other 1 rolled down look. I'm like, "okay .. ??"
But that could just be me. I feel that I like men who dress like ... men.
And maybe (it's quite possible that) I'm becoming a fuddy duddy - but I feel like particularly w/ musicians nowadays, it's 1 thing if it's part of your 'act' or something, but more & more male musicians are dressing, looking & acting less & less like MEN to me, personally. lol!
And I couldn't possibly dislike the Biebs more if I tried.
At 1st it was because I was angry @ Usher for bringing him into the spotlight because he was everywhere on everything & he's completely un-talented. Then I decided he had 1 or 2 catchy songs & I just didn't get why all the girls swooned over him because he looks like a twerp. THEN I learned over time that he actually
is a twerp, a spoiled little whiny, self-involved brat & egomaniac & now ... it actually starts to make me physically angry to see his face.
His speech last night proved it & thank goodness he was booed. Going on about wanting to be respected as a legit artist ... it's like, "then get out of your own way!" & then being like, "I'm 19 & I'm amazing". Get over yourself. Seriously.
Annnnnd I have lost respect in society that he won the fan voted award for most innovative artist against Bruno Mars & Taylor Swift. You have gotta be kidding me. There's a reason he wasn't invited to the Grammy's this year. That's all I'm sayin'.
Sooo to answer his question from last night - No. I would most definitely never, ever, ever board a flight on "Bieber Air". I'd rather spend my life stuck in an airport ... & that's SAYING something.
Okay. I'm officially over my Biebs rant. If you're a Belieber or whatever ... I apologize. Please don't send me death threats.

I don't usually
love Tracy Morgan, but his opening monologue @ least made me laugh a few times. Esp when he was all, "Do NOT screw over these women. They will write a song about you & it will NOT be pretty. You go out on a date w/ them, forget to open the car door like a gentlemen or whatever - what's the #1 song next month? 'Car Door'."
And then they show Taylor Swift in the audience & she's all seriously nodding in agreement like, "True story, true story."
Bruno's opening number w/ his haircut & his red suit & his jazz band / horn section & his sexy dance moves & his sexy self singin' his sexy song "Treasure" was a FINE way to be startin' this years show!
I love how Chris Brown loves to pretend he's Michael Jackson. In fairness, the girlfriend-beater actually
is a fairly good dancer, but he really needs to start being a lil' more original. He's made a dance-career stealing MJ's moves for too long.
I know that Madonna's ... Madonna, but she's like, 50-something now. Did she seriously need to come out on stage to accept such a 'prestigious award' dressed like a hooker .. ?? And they let her ramble on for far too long. She shoulda' done what Prince did, no chitty-chat-chat - just the music.
Speaking of, I've never been
huge into Prince, but his mini-set friggin' ROCKED! Esp loved his Jimi Hendrix tribute / look / style. Classy.
Am I the only 1 who felt like the a-ha guy hasn't aged a single day & might ACTUALLY have been hit harder w/ the pretty stick since the 80's?? Cause he be lookin' gooood last night.
The Nicki Minaj and Lil' Wayne performance was... Umm. A whole lot a booty and not much singin'. Nicki sure seems proud of her rear....
Oh my gosh, right?!
I was txting Britt about the show @ 1 point during their performance & I looked up @ the tv & was all, "Wowww. She is giving him a
serious lap dance on network television." LoL.
And since
apparently I'm feeling incredibly negative tonight (haha!) - I agree w/ you both Sarah & Christine in that I adore Taylor & thought her performance last night was super unique, fun & amazing - but there were def a few times during it that you could tell she wasn't lip synching because she REALLY did not make some of her notes, haha.
All in all the show was pretty good this year & I didn't disagree w/ a ton of the award decisions.
I evidently just like to be hyper-critical. Everyone's a critic, right??
