I don't think Peyton was wrong in what she said to Nathan BUT I completely agree that she should listen to her own advice once in a while
..shouldn't we all though at some point or another in our lives.
its always easier to give people grief about their faults, while we can not always see those within ourselves.
;pretty natural to me..

*;-true love never looked so concrete!

I think Peyton never stopped caring about Nathan. Like they pointed out more then enough they didn't had a great relationship, but they do spend a few years in their teens together and the caring never stopped.

We also all know that Nathan can mess things up very quickly and regret it afterwards. I think Peyton knows Nathan needs guidance and I absolutly loved her in that scene.

But it also is a very known fact that Peyton is very straight forward to others and not that much too herself. So yes, she needs to get her act together more and she defentitly annoyed me alot in the whole Lindsey issue. But that also is a very important part of Peytons character, so I think it was good for the storyline.

I think it was time people stopped letting Nate get away with everything, that said, I don't think Peyton's words made a difference to him because he still didn't show up for his son and he was still drinking after. The wake up call was when Haley told him that he really would have nothing if he didn't get his act together. He was afraid of losing his family, thats was his wake up call. So while I don't believe P helped, she certainly didn't hurt his feelings and if she did oh well.

I love Nathan. He's my favorite character, but I thought he totally deserved that line. In fact, that's one of my favorite lines in that whole season. I loved the line, and the way Hilarie delivered it.

I kind of think Peyton "planted the seed." Haley's outburst really made him realize that Peyton was right and that he needed to step up and be the man his family needed him to be, but I definitely think Peyton helped him get there too.

I don't even like Peyton & I love Nathan but I thought Peyton had every right to say what she said to him. Sure she moped around about Lucas but she wasn't ruining other peoples lives in the process like Nathan was. He had a wife & child to think about and he was always was drunk & angry. Nathan deserved to hear everything that was said to him.

Nathan is my favorite but I didn't have a problem with what Peyton said to him. He needed to hear it. Did it make a difference? No. Did he listen? No. I think it just went through one hear and out the other. I think Haley is what really did it.

Though to be honest, Nathan wasn't that annoying with it, his mopiness lasted for like two/three episodes.

Back to the topic, no Peyton was not harsh at all and I think she was right.

I can't believe I started this thread LOL. It must have occurred at the height of my Peyton hate.
