I was informed today, by a reliable source, that the writers already have a plan for season 9 and that there is no campaign that will affect/change that plan. Knowing this, which is not surprising at all, I guess we can say this campaign is officially over.
I'm not naive or silly to actually think a campaign like this could play a major role in the writer's decisions but I love this couple too much to just give up. My intentions were the best and I thought, with all the complaints that there were this last season, that I would have the support of the NH fans. This ended up not happening and only a minor percentage of people supported this campaign. I'm really thankful for everyone who was with me, trying to make a difference, as tiny as it could be.
There were people saying I was insane, making fun of me, mocking my campaign and my efforts, posting only to say this would never work, but all of these things made me realize the greatness of the NH fans compared to others.
And while NH have the possibility of being ignored once again, I'm fully aware that no other couple on this show can ever compare to them and their history. That is something no one will ever take away from them, not even the writers and the creator.
Again, thank you to everyone who supported this and actually wanted to take a chance. I knew it would be really hard that we could be heard, but I'm with a clear conscience because at least I tried. And trying doesn't hurt a thing and it should never be object of rude comments and mocking.
