That's the only post on that fanpop account which makes it seem fake, and I don't get what the 'That's what she said' thing would even include, and that makes me think its Breyton, since he/she did the same thing last year and posted that they 'got the DVD early' and that there were lots of commentaries with Shantel that there actually weren't (like one on 7x08, and that she was in the finale one I think) and that the gag reel was 10 minutes long. Amazon or something more reliable would probably post what extras are on it first.

I'm guessing we'll only get two commentaries since we usually only get around 2 or 3. One of them will be either 8x02 or 8x03, and the other will probably be the finale. Hopefully Sophia/Joy/James are on that one (or at least one of them). Stephen tends to do a lot of commentaries though so I'm guessing he might be one of the people on that commentary.

I think so.

I loved the season 1 commentary where all of them did one and then the older cast members did another. Sophia did one on 7x09 I think with Austin but it was posted on her website, and before that the last one I remember her doing is one in season 6. The commentaries now are usually kinda boring.

cover should be released any day now, even if they plan on releasing it in late December, most of WB's shows are releasing their cover art this week (Gossip Girl, Chuck, 2&HalfMen)

hoping for a good cover and not a replica of S7's

amazon has a new cover up. i hope to god its not official its identical to S7 apart from the colour

Yeah this is what came up when I searched it on Amazon and Play, exactly the same as S7 except the colour/number. Hmm. This is from UK versions of the sites though, I'm not sure what the deal is because I searched it on the US version of Amazon and no actual box set came up, it was just the picture from the front. But here's what's coming up on UK sites:

Oop I just saw a big zoomed in version of it and it says on the side of it "The complete seventh season"! So it's obviously not real, they've just changed the colour and number on the front. The colour here's pretty similar to season 5, and no idea what the deal is with the weird purple strip at the bottom, haha.

I don't think we will, because UK sites are already advertising it as coming out early October here. I don't see why the release of the next season would affect the release of this season's DVD. Maybe they're just being lazy with the cover art? I mean its not like they have much to work with picture-wise.

I know Wikipedia isn't always reliable, but it can be pretty accurate as well. & it says in the UK, the release date for s8 is October 3, 2011. & if it's anything like it's been since s5, if it comes out in the UK in October, it'll come out in the US in August.

I hope the cover is grey and 9 gold. I wonder who all will be on the cover. I think it should be Brooke, Nathan, Haley, Julian, Clay, Quinn, Mouth, and Alex. Although theyll probably leave mouth off and have Chase on it. I think Austin and Sophia should do a commentary together and it would be cool if Sophia, James, Joy, and Mark did one on the finale.
