I hope so too - I think all of the others have had covers which is odd, and it'd be weird if it came out the same time in America as its supposed to in the UK. (or maybe if it comes out October 3rd in America we'll have to wait longer...gah I really hope not.)

So according to a website that has the release dates for all the other DVD boxsets season 4 didn't come out until Dec. 18th 2007. Which is a month before season 5 started. Maybe that's what there going to do again. Wait until Dec. Which would really suck. But this is just my thought I don't know if it's true.

Season 8 DVD Release is Aug 29.
There's also a list of all the extras ....
I just can't remember which site I got the info from, but I jotted the date down =)

'A Hurricane, A Psycho and A Raging River: The Making of a Legendary Episode' Yeah that part makes it sound really cheesy/not legit to me.

I mean 'Legendary'? Come on now. Plus I really doubt we'll get that many deleted scenes.

The dvd will release in 3 october 2011 in England ( amazon.co.uk ). The cover has already been linked several times, it is indeed the purple version, but the exact version of the S7 cover, just another color and a 8 in it. Pretty clear

No idea, but I guess not much later or earlier. I always import it from England from amazon.co.uk and whenever I check the release date + photo in june/july, the release date is always correct just like the color/front of the box. No idea when it releases in America

Ah, ok.Thanks! I'll probably just go get it from Wal-Mart or something when it comes out..
Doesn't the U.S. usually get stuff released first, though? I may be wrong..
I've never bought the dvds as they came out,I bought seasons 1-5, then I lost them in a house fire, & by the time I got around to re-buying, 6 & 7 were out so I bought them.. So I'm not sure how all this works since every time I've bought I've bought them in bulk..
Idk if that makes sense, but yeahhhh

I just hope it comes out soon! I wish the cover was different. & the color! I guess they're running out of colors. They could do yellow or pink
