lucas - you see him develop feelings for brooke, then lose keith and his struggle to move on without keith.

actually brooke didn't realize she didn't need boys for happiness, she was miserable at the end of S3 when she lost lucas. and she was miserable all of S4 and in the 4 years after high school(according to her own words) too.

so I vote for Nathan, because the description actually fits him and what he learned in this season.

well she was miserable because peyton betrayed her, but mid-season she realized she in her own words instead of making out she should be making clothes, she let go of the party life, boys and realized she herself has talent thats what i meant.

actually haley i didn't view as most "changed or ground breaking" if it were season 2 yes. she was consistant all season, i guess in my view. so i choice lucas, dan, nathan, peyton & brooke can't fit the whole cast.

I think for me it was def.Lucas!Keith has been the closest of a father he had and when Lucas lost him...Gosh,very intense!It was absolutely interesting to see how Lucas moved on without Keith,especially in season 4 as well!

Every character went throught something hard this season if you ask me. They are all great actors and they all proved that in this season, aswell as the others. So to me...there was not really one actor/actress who stood out this season, who was better than the rest.

Mix between Nathan and Brooke for me, purely because of the way they both evolved and matured over the season.


Peyton/Hilarie was absolutely incredible throughout the Peyton/Ellie arc though, really felt it when Ellie died!
